The University Chapel holds a special place in our hearts. Pamela went to Uni here and she has always wanted to get married in this Church. John agreed how special the venue was when they first went to view it together. He insisted that they book it for their big day.
Please note that all guests should be seated for 11.45am.
Current Covid regulations stipulate that all guests should wear a face covering unless they are exempt for medical reasons. The University have arranged a seating plan to enable 2 metre distancing.
At this time of year, the University Campus is closed and therefore, you can park in the Chapel grounds.

We wanted a venue near water, so we booked to view The Lochside in Ayrshire. As soon as we walked through the door, we completely fell in love with the place.
We look forward to celebrating with you in our gorgeous venue.

Unfortunately, The Lochside House Hotel rooms are fully booked.
The Royal Hotel, Cumnock - 01290 420 822
This is the sister hotel to The Lochside and when booking, so please quote the "Docherty/Elliott" wedding.
Unfortunately, due to social distancing and further Covid regulations, we are unable to provide buses to and from the venue.
There are parking facilities at both the Church and hotel venues.
Currently, weddings can only take place up until 10.30pm. We are hoping this will change in the coming weeks.
As is the case in restaurants and other hospitality venues, masks are required when moving around the hotel but can be removed when sitting at your table or in the bar areas.
Covid regulations and wedding restrictions are ever changing. We plan to update this site in line with government guidelines so please check back to view the most up to date information.
